Trilogy Celebrates the Fourth!

From parades to barbecues to flags waving proudly, the patriotic spirit is in high gear at the Trilogy communities on the Fourth of July!  Read on to discover just a few of the ways that Trilogy members are coming together to celebrate our country’s independence.

Encanterra Country Club’s annual Independence Day celebration is back!  The fun begins with a “Red, White, & Blue” decorated golf cart event.  Members will bring their golf carts to the fountain area of La Casa to be judged.  Prizes will be given for the ‘most patriotic golf cart or bicycle’ and ‘best dressed couple’.  The festivities will then move inside as members enjoy an “All American Dinner Buffet” that includes watermelon salad, chilled vegetable and pasta salad, ranch chips, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried corn, a build your own burger bar – and all-American apple pie for dessert, of course!  Members will top off the night by gathering on the west lawn to view the fireworks from Schnepf Farms.

Encanterra members will also continue their tradition of placing American flags all along Encanterra Drive to create a beautiful display of patriotism.

Trilogy at Monarch Dunes members will be marching in their annual Fourth of July parade.  Members, children, and grandchildren are invited to walk or ride with decorated wagons, bikes, classic cars, or golf carts through the streets of the Trilogy at Monarch Dunes neighborhoods.  There will even be pets on parade!  This is a wonderful community tradition that brings out the patriotic spirit in all of the Trilogy at Monarch Dunes members.

Another Trilogy at Monarch Dunes tradition is the annual flagging of the community to celebrate Independence Day. Every year, members honor America by placing an American flag in front of every home in Trilogy at Monarch Dunes.  Many thanks to Shea Homes for providing replacement/additional flags each year so that the community can continue this wonderful tradition.

Trilogy at Rio Vista members will also be parading their patriotism on the Fourth of July.  Members, friends and family will gather for a grand celebration of America’s birthday, including a parade around Summerset Drive, an ice cream social, and a variety of entertainment for kids (and kids at heart)!  It will be an afternoon of good old-fashioned fun!

Members of Shea Homes at Ardiente will have a very special start to their Independence Day as the community gathers to dedicate their new flag pole!  The Veterans’ Club will hold a brief dedication ceremony outside of the Clubhouse in front of the new flag pole.  There will be a reception with coffee and donuts immediately following the dedication ceremony.  In the afternoon, the patriotic festivities will continue with a classic community barbecue by the pool!

The Fourth of July means family time at Trilogy at the Vineyards!  Friends and family are invited to wear their red, white and blue to the community’s annual barbecue.  There will be bounce houses, lawn games, volleyball, and a DJ to add to the festive atmosphere.

Trilogy Orlando members will also gather together to celebrate our country’s birthday with an all American barbecue, including ribs, baked beans, corn on the cob, and apple pie! Joe, the singing DJ, will be performing all evening to keep everyone on the dance floor.

For the ninth year in a row, Trilogy at Vistancia members Ted and Lana Friedman are continuing their annual tradition of providing complimentary American flags for their Trilogy neighbors!  All Trilogy at Vistancia members are invited to pick up a flag from the front porch of the Friedman’s home to display in their front yard.  With American flags flying throughout the neighborhoods, the community’s patriotic spirit is on display for all to see!

Happy Fourth of July to all of our Trilogy members, family, and friends!
