We’d like to congratulate and thank the nearly 300 participants who supported the innagural Shea Homes Glow Run. We hope you enjoyed the night time, luminaries-lit course at the private country club, Encanterra, and look forward to seeing you next year! Your participation the in Glow Run directly benefited StreetLight, the Phoenix based organization designed to rescue and restore underage children who are victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking. The Shea Homes Glow Run and StreetLight have an extremely synergistic relationship. The symbolism of the night run using luminaries to light the way with the personal strength and endurance required to complete a long run was the perfect way to demonstrate hope and human empathy – key attributes of StreetLight. The ambiance at the event was special but what made the event even more special were the children that we were able to help with a portion of your entry fees.
Mark your calendars for October 9, 2010 for the 2nd Annual Shea Homes Glow Run. We look forward to seeing you, your friends and family out again!
