In the following interview, Joel Reger, Director of Resort Operations for Trilogy at The Vineyards, shares the story of the Adventure Club, and their thrill-seeking plans for the future.
Joel, how did the idea for an Adventure Club come about?
Well, we wanted to create opportunities for our members to do new and exciting things, things they used to do or things they’ve always wanted to try or experience. Knowing how fun-loving our members are, we threw out the idea of creating an Adventure Club for the community, and we received a great response from the members right away.
What is the goal of the Adventure Club? How often do you plan to organize an adrenaline-rush activity for the members?
Our goal with the Adventure Club is to give our members a chance to experience something unique and exciting together – to have an unforgettable shared experience every other month. This club doesn’t meet as often as the regularly scheduled clubs, like hiking or biking clubs, since the kinds of activities we’re organizing take some extra planning and coordination. But, that just gives us time to savor our last adventure, and to look forward to the next with eager anticipation!
