This month, the Explore 360 cross-community travel program was launched to all BlueStar-managed Trilogy communities with the announcement of its inaugural adventure: an 8-day exploration of the celebrated Danube River aboard a luxurious Viking River Cruises longship, departing October 29, 2016. Many of our Trilogy Members have expressed interest in a European river cruise, and Viking River Cruises is well known as the leader in the river cruising business, so this was a natural fit for our maiden Explore 360 voyage.

Explore 360 is the new cross-community travel program available to Members of all BlueStar-managed Trilogy communities. This program gives Members the opportunity to travel the world, connect with fellow Trilogy Members across the country, and enjoy exclusive group pricing for their adventures.
Explore 360 will add ease to our Members’ travel itinerary, as the Explore 360 Travel Concierge will help to arrange all of the trip details, and Trilogy Lifestyle Directors will accompany Members on the trips to ensure that everyone has smooth sailing on their journeys. This travel program will also be enhanced with exclusive extras like meet & greets at the beginning of each adventure, evening mixers, group walks/hikes, game/trivia nights, offsite tours, and more throughout each trip.
Explore 360 Trip: Viking River Cruise on the Danube
Members of all BlueStar-managed Trilogy communities are invited to embark on an unforgettable adventure aboard the Viking Longship Njord, departing October 29, 2016. This 8-day cruise from Nuremberg to Budapest will cover three countries with six guided tours of this culturally rich region of the world.
During this journey, Members will encounter the grand cities and quaint villages along the renowned Danube River. They will explore both sides of Hungary’s capital: traditional, hilly Buda and cosmopolitan Pest. Members will witness Vienna’s imperial architecture and tour medieval towns in Austria’s Wachau Valley. They will savor the tastes of authentic dishes, learn about local legends, and understand why Strauss immortalized the “Blue Danube” in his waltz.
This trip includes all meals, complimentary wine, beer, and soft drinks with onboard dinner and lunch service, and a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine to welcome you when you arrive in your stateroom.
Also included in this trip is Viking River Cruises’ trademarked Culture Curriculum, which includes culture-focused experiences throughout the trip. The Danube cruise, for example, will feature musical entertainment highlighting Austrian and Hungarian classics. Shore excursions are offered at every port, onboard enrichment talks provide additional insight into the magical cities you will visit, and Viking’s concierge service will help to inspire special off-ship requests.
To further enhance our Members’ experience, two BlueStar/Trilogy Lifestyle Directors will accompany them onboard to ensure smooth sailing and spectacular service throughout their journey. They will coordinate exclusive extras for Trilogy Members, including morning power walks to start the day, evening mixers, meet & greets, game & trivia night, and offsite tours. All of this will be organized exclusively for the Trilogy Members on this Explore 360 voyage.
